What is aesPlla?
aesPlla is an advanced injectable biostimulator designed to support the skin’s natural collagen production and gradually improve facial firmness, structure and skin quality.
Unlike a traditional dermal filler, which is generally used to create immediate volume or definition in a specific area, aesPlla works progressively. Its purpose is to encourage the skin to rebuild and strengthen from within, creating a subtle and natural-looking improvement over time.
At Sculpted Rose Aesthetics & Laser, aesPlla is suitable for clients who feel their skin has started to lose firmness, elasticity or support but do not necessarily want an instantly filled or dramatically altered appearance.
What can aesPlla help with?
aesPlla may be recommended to improve:
- Reduced facial firmness
- Loss of elasticity
- Early skin laxity
- Crepey or thinning skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Loss of facial support
- General deterioration in skin quality
- Age-related changes through the cheeks and lower face
It can be particularly suitable for clients who want gradual rejuvenation and a refreshed appearance while maintaining their natural facial characteristics.
How does it work?
aesPlla contains poly-L-lactic acid, commonly known as PLLA. Once placed into carefully selected areas, the product provides a stimulus that encourages the body’s natural collagen-production process.
The initial fluid used during treatment is gradually absorbed. The more meaningful changes then develop over the following weeks and months as new collagen forms within the treated tissue.
Because this is a regenerative process, aesPlla does not create its final result immediately. Improvements are designed to appear gradually, helping the skin look firmer, smoother and more supported without an obvious sudden change.
What happens during treatment?
Every aesPlla treatment begins with a detailed consultation and facial assessment. We will discuss your concerns, medical history, expectations and whether the treatment is suitable for you.
The product is carefully prepared before treatment and introduced into selected areas of the face. The precise placement and amount used will depend upon your facial anatomy and individual treatment plan.
A topical numbing product may be used where appropriate. Clients may experience mild pressure, tenderness or a temporary stinging sensation during treatment.
Is there any downtime?
Temporary effects can include:
• Redness
• Swelling
• Tenderness
• Bruising
• Small areas of firmness
• Mild asymmetry while swelling settles
These effects are normally temporary. Full aftercare instructions will be provided following treatment.

How many sessions are recommended?
A course of two sessions, normally spaced approximately six weeks apart, is generally recommended.
The number of sessions required may vary according to the client’s age, skin quality, degree of collagen loss and desired outcome. Maintenance treatment may be discussed once the initial results have developed.
